El Proyecto de Norma Oficial Mexicana PROY-NOM-036-SSA3-2015, Para la regulación de la atención médica a distancia; tenía por objeto, establecer los procedimientos que debería seguir el personal de salud que presta servicios de atención médica a distancia; así como las características mínimas de infraestructura y equipamiento que deberían tener los establecimientos que prestaran dichos servicios, para garantizar la buena práctica de esta modalidad de atención médica, a través del uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones (TIC’s) conforme a las disposiciones aplicables.

The Project Official Mexican Standard PROY-NOM-036-SSA3-2015, For the regulation of distance medical care, was published on December 21, 2015, in the Official Gazette of the Federation, for public consultation, which established the procedures that should be followed by health personnel providing at the distance medical care services, as well as the minimum characteristics of infrastructure and equipment that the establishments that provide services should have, to guarantee the good practice of this modality of medical attention, through the use of the Information and Communication Technologies (TIC´s).
